Twitterは2021年12月15日（米国時間）、一部のAndroid版Twitterアプリのユーザーを対象に、ツイートとツイートの間のスペースを拡大するテストを開始したと発表しました。

このテストは、2021年9月からテスト導入されている「Edge to Edge」デザインにおいて、ツイートとツイートの切れ目が分かりづらいというユーザーの声を反映したものです。

「Edge to Edge」デザインは、タイムライン上のツイートを画面の端から端まで表示させるデザインで、現在のデザインよりも写真や動画をより幅広く表示することができます。
今回のテスト対象者は、テスト導入中の「Edge to Edge」デザインが適用されているAndroid版Twitterアプリユーザーです。通常のデザインが適用されているユーザーは、テストの対象にはなりません。
